Meet the Team
Sanae, who has been practicing yoga since 2004, become a RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) practitioner in 2009 before signing on as a yoga instructor at a well-known hot yoga studio in Japan – where she provided classes for 50 to 90 members a day. She then became a trainer in western Japan, teaching courses for yoga instructors on anatomy, physiology and basic knowledge of yoga philosophy. She has since been following Indian yogis to deepen better understanding for traditional yoga and keep practice every day.
“Practicing yoga allows us to experience deep relaxation and heal ourselves. Experiencing beyond the practice helps us broaden our perspective.”
Inspired by the work of Edgar Cayce, Takako was naturally drawn to the world of holistic healing arts. She has a diploma in clinical aromatherapy & therapeutic massage with anatomy and physiology and is also a certified practitioner of both Access Bars and M Technique. A Jikiden Reiki Teacher and Practitioner, as well as a CPS accredited spiritual healer, Takako has been an active member of UK Healers since 2015. Since returning to her home city of Kyoto in 2018, Takako has been offering reiki treatment to the international clients who visit the Jikiden Reiki Institute, as well as to guests and customers of the Four Seasons Hotel, Kyoto.
“As a Reiki practitioner, I consider myself a medium who enables people to open themselves up to the healing powers of universal energy, and thus to discover and realize the potential to self-heal.”
