Thanks to passionate Sous Chef Syed, fondly known as Chef Bob, our award-winning Ikan-Ikan isn’t just about authentic local dishes: It’s about authentic local ingredients as well. He makes sure the restaurant uses 100-percent–natural, Langkawian ingredients from small local producers, from seafood caught by independent fishermen to the daily collection of fresh salads from nearby organic farms. As one of the pioneers of our Resort since its inception, Chef Bob continues to refine his approach to indigenous favourites without compromising the original taste. After 20 years spent in the culinary industry, his passion in the kitchen still remains as fervent as ever.
