Tailor your itinerary with their favourites; then, explore, retreat and repeat.

Where Our Executive Sous Chef Dines With Friends

– Christian De Nadai, Executive Sous Chef

“The rise in gastronomic markets and food courts has definitely changed the food scene here. My favourite place is Depo Food Mall, with its 75 restaurants and 140 farm shops. I meet friends there on Friday nights for dinner and live concerts or go for breakfast on Sunday mornings. Try Mollusca restaurant, which serves 101 different mussel dishes – from alcohol-laced and fruity to some with unexpected toppings like chocolate and bananas. I recommend the Parmesan, cream and black pepper mussels paired with a pint of beer.”

A Hidden Bar From Our PR Coordinator

– Mariam Khabirova, PR Coordinator

“Korobok is a small bar beneath Tehnikum restaurant, about a 10-minute walk from our Hotel. The bar has no menu, so the bartenders offer drinks based on your preferences. The space is quite dark, the music calm and the atmosphere a little mysterious – it all helps you concentrate on your drink and the feelings it evokes.”

A Contemporary Art Find From Our Revenue Management Director

– Svetlana Zholud, Director of Revenue Management

“Garage Museum of Contemporary Art is a creative space with visiting exhibitions, events and masterclasses, promising a different experience every time you’re in Moscow. It also presents an interesting selection of films in its summer film series. The museum is located in Gorky Park, so I love following my visit with a stroll along the Moscow River to think about exhibitions I’ve just seen.”

A Different City View From Our Hotel Manager

– Julia Selyukova, Hotel Manager

“If you’d like to see Moscow’s amazing architecture from a different angle, take a boat tour on the Moscow River. Boat cruises are available year-round, and a variety of options are available – you can take a tour on a small private boat or join a river cruise. I recommend launching from the Taras Shevchenko embankment at early sunset for the most beautiful views of colours surrounding the iconic buildings.”

Where Our Concierge Shops for Jewellery

– Zara Sargsyan, Concierge

“Avgvst Jewelry is my favourite Russian handmade jewellery brand. The owners say their products are for people who do not wear any jewelry – and it’s true. Their items are simple and stylish; they complement your everyday looks and add that finishing touch. I especially love the Alma collections. The store is located in Patriarch’s Ponds, the hippest area in Moscow with a lot of great bars and restaurants. I like going there for breakfast, then stopping by Avgvst.”

Where Our Lounge Assistant Manager Goes for Year-Round Fun

– Ivan Karmaev, Silk Lounge Manager

“VDNH is the largest park in Moscow that I like to frequent. In summer, it is the perfect place for skating, biking or just walking to see elaborate fountains. In winter, the park debuts a grand ice rink with bright lights and music. VDNH is also famous for its pavilions with exhibitions. My favourite is the Cosmos pavilion, where you can embark on a journey through the history of Soviet space exploration.”
