Cyrille PannierExecutive Chef
Hailing from Pays de Loire in France, where he grew up on a farmstead, Chef Cyrille Pannier has worked in renowned kitchens around the world, from London to Los Angeles, bringing more than 30 years of culinary experience to oversee all culinary aspects of the Hotel.
Norma WhittExecutive Sous Chef
A native of Southern California, and with 15 years of experience in the culinary world, Norma Louise Whitt is the Hotel’s Executive Sous Chef. She oversees the Hotel’s culinary programs for events, meetings and banquets. Whitt joins the Hotel most recently from Iowa State University where she was working at the presidential mansion as a private chef and overseeing the food and beverage operations.
Michael BrownPastry Chef
A South Africa native, Michael Brown oversees a team whose sweet and savoury creations are often the last impression for Hotel guests, event attendees and MKT Restaurant – Bar patrons. With over a decade of experience, Brown most recently was the pastry chef at Kith and Kin in Washington D.C. Brown’s signature style incorporates multiple flavours and textures with clean lines, so it's no surprise his favourite dessert is Opera Torte for its precise design and and rich flavour.
- Fog City Tales
The MKT Restaurant – Bar “Fog City Tales” cocktail menu draws from San Francisco's historic neighbourhoods, eras and figures. The cocktails take inspiration from ingredients grown seasonally in the California region, but it’s the story connected with the cocktail that makes the programme special. These stories pay tribute to significant moments of San Francisco’s past.Details
