There is a simple desire that drives Chef Petrone here at Boccalino: to be the best Italian restaurant in Seoul. The dishes on his modern Mediterranean menu are presented in a colourful and elegant way, providing a playful update on traditional Italian cuisine that matches the restaurant's stylish design. Growing up along the southwestern coast of Italy in Naples, he was inspired to cook by watching his mother make pasta, seafood, tomatoes and cheese for the family. That inspiration led him to hotelier school and eventually to Michelin-starred kitchens in Italy and Hong Kong before joining us in Seoul.
