This exclusive culinary adventure begins with an excursion to Granville Island Public Market alongside Executive Chef Edgar Kano or Restaurant Chef Stephen Bukoff. Learn the tips and tricks for selecting the highest quality sustainable seafood and local produce. Return to the Hotel to join the Chef in YEW seafood + bar’s kitchen for a 90 minute class, where you will create and prepare their signature entrée. Here guests will have the opportunity to innovate their dish and spice things up to their liking. Sweet-toothed guests are invited to join Executive Pastry Chef Suraj Karmakar on a visit to where they will discover the secret to selecting premium local ingredients to create decadent desserts. Participants will return and fire up the ovens in the Hotel’s dedicated bakeshop for a fun and interactive baking and pastry class with Chef Karmakar. This hands-on experience will allow guests to prepare one variety of seasonal ice cream or sorbet selection, seasonal fruit pie and a signature dessert from award winning YEW seafood + bar restaurant.
